Hey Soul Tribe! I'm Sarah, the founder of Aligned Artists!
In my twenties, I found myself absolutely drowning. Self-care was nonexistent, my self-esteem was shot, my mental health was weakening, and I couldn't fix any of those things, because I had a demanding photography career to manage. The more I masked my struggles, the bigger they became, and I eventually landed at rock bottom.
Between the inner struggles I was facing and the mountain of forgotten business tasks I had let pile up, I realized I was now hiding from the life I had once thought I wanted. What started out as my desire to creatively connect with the world had morphed into a cage that kept me from even being a part of it. Ultimately, this struggle led me to a very difficult decision: after 6 years of trying to keep it all together, I had to let go of the business that had ripped me apart. This perceived "failure" was the catalyst to the next five years of my life.
With the help of several mentors and one heck of a wellness coach, my breakdown became my breakthrough: your business can only truly grow from a state of alignment. Helping other artists overcome their struggles, teaching them how to connect with their higher selves, and re-introducing their gifts from a state of alignment is now my passion. I'm forever grateful to the very mess that has become my message, and I hope to inspire you along your journey to becoming your most aligned, artistic self.
